Summer only happens once a year, and before you know it, dancing under the stars in Fairmount park will be like a California dream. Join rizumu this Friday at the Rock Garden, as we team up with artists Kasper from the Madrid based record label Esperenza and Attentat, from Make Mistakes(those techno loving fools from Denver), and niksound to bring you a dusk til dawn jam in the park. The forecast for Friday night is clear, so we're extra excited about partying outdoors.

Kasper runs the very notable top-tier label Esperenza who's roster houses some of the industry's biggest names in avant house and techno: Seth Troxler, Butane, Troy Pierce, Lee Curtiss, Jorge Savoretti, Franco Cinelli, Seuil, and Brother's Vibe, to name a few. The Madrid born artist still does make time for his own creative output. In fact, his own work has graced such fine world-class imprints as: Wolf + Lamb, Minus, Ilian Tape, and Net28. With a balanced sound influenced by early house music combined with the attention to detail and quality made possible by new digital developments, this artist makes music for the educated listener and experienced dance floor veteran.

So come out and welcome the US Summer Tour of Kasper to one of our favorite summer Philly spots this Friday, July 30th from dusk til dawn, $10. We'll be intimately gathered at the Rock Garden located just before the Girard bridge off Kelly Drive. Things to bring might include beverages, water, lawn chairs, dogs, bicycles, blankets, and insect repellant.
