My interest in electronic music began in Berlin, Germany in 1998 during a summer abroad. After living in Berlin and hearing a melange of electronic music, I became enthusiastic about djing and started in 1999. My first gig was a weekly radio show that aired on Fridays on 90.5 FM WVBU. This lasted for 2 years. After finishing college, I moved to the Philadelphia suburbs and met Tom Schreiber, Rick Miko, and Dissonance of Funkshun. They introduced me to the Philly Techno/house scene and my love for techno and house began.

From early 2000's to the present I've been a promoter, a dj, a live performer and a producer as a Funkshun artist. In 2005, I transitioned from djing to hardware live pa's. This was a major change from djing and I was influenced by artists who performed live at our FX events, namely Shawn Rudiman of Technoir Audio, Pittsburgh. Becoming friends with Shawn changed everything for me. I learned "the ropes" from him and quickly began experimenting with live performance and studio production. It wasn't long before I found myself in a basement full of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, racks of equipment, patchbays, efx units, and samplers.

I am as passionated about the equipment I use as I am the music. My music has no limits. When I hear something good in the studio, I work with it, regardless of genre or equipment I am using. I love working most with analog synthesizers, the MPC 3000, vintage drum machines like the 909 and 808 just to name a few, and I love older samplers. They sound great! No computers are ever used in my LIve Pa's or in my studio productions, except to 2 track record or to master. I do all my mixes on the fly using a 32 channel mixer. What comes in the board is what comes out in the final mix.
