Pandemix [Justin Gibbon] applies the the rhythmic sensibility of a lifelong drummer to the art of DJing with both vinyl and vinyl controllers. His dj sets are often cerebral and dark, and cover what he calls the "deep, dirty and dubbed" of techno and house. His live electronic sets incorporate live drumming and radio frequencies sampled and looped on the fly, mixed with pre-arranged sequences. As the founder of inciting, a promotional entity, and of the Great Circles record label, he works to advance the exposure of both electronic and other non-traditional musical forms in Philadelphia and beyond.
