Attentat began his voyage as a DJ back in 1996. These days he finds himself as co-founder/owner of the Denver based record label Dope Recordings. He is also a member of the Colorado based production collective, Communikey.

When he is not busy running the Dope label, or planning the next Communikey event, Attentat locks himself in the studio. He began producing music in 2000 and his work has been released on the labels Dope Recordings, Wolf + Lamb Music, Geometricdeck, and Archipel. His work is most often dark and brooding, best suited for the late night DJ set or the after-after party.

These days Attentat has abandoned vinyl for a more contemporary digital DJ set up. The ability to create loops, mix in his own material, and the potential for layering, not available through a traditional DJ arrangement pushed him in this direction.

Over the years Attentat's skills have landed him gigs at some of North America's more prestigious venues and events. These include the Communikey Festival of Electronic Arts (Boulder), The Bunker (NYC), Decibel Festival (Seattle), and Oslo (Detroit). Residing in Colorado since 1999, Thomas has established himself as a Rocky Mountain favorite, able to hold it down amongst the heavy hitters that pass through the state.
